Custom Cherry Cutting Board

This custom cutting board was created using the wood from a cherry tree planted at a families home.  They were doing some landscaping and replanting and the tree had lived a long life.

In the process I was given the wood to use in projects.

This is my token to them for their kindness.
Board measured in at 1/2 thick 20 inches long and 14 inches wide.
Both sides of the board was done, so one could be for meats and the other for vegetables...juice grooves were routed in each end of the board.

For protection I coated with a food grade mineral oil.

Custom Oak and Walnut Cabinet Cutting Board

 Created a replacement cutting board to slide in slot in counter top. The main board was made out of Oak and it is 18 inches wide and around 20 inches long. The walnut finger board was added to the front of board to match their cabinets and to keep the board from sliding into the cabinet to far.

The finished board was coated with a food grade mineral oil to preserve the wood.

Large Custom Cutting Board

This large Custom Cutting Board was created for a client in Florida to give to her daughter in Massachusetts. It is being made out of hard maple and measures in at 24 inches wide x 36 inches long and one inch thick.

Custom Dark Walnut Cutting Board.

This Custom Cutting Board was created using Dark Walnut and measures in at 21 1/2 inches long and 21 1/4 inches wide, and around 1 inch thick.  It will be used to create more work space in a small apartment.

Fits perfect and client loved it!

Custom Hard Maple Cutting Board

 This Custom cutting board with drip line and handle is being shipped to Missouri as a birthday present. It was made out of hard maple and measures in at 19 inches long x 12 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches thick.

It was designed as a two sided use board.  One side has a drip slot routed into the board to catch juices from meat etc..  The other side was left smooth for cutting vegetables, breads,   etc....

As always I use a food grade mineral oil to coat the boards for preservation and protection.

Custom Pullout Cutting Boards

These two custom pull out cutting boards were created out of Maple. They are headed to a kitchen in California.
The breadboard ends assist in keeping the boards flat for sliding in and out of the slots in the cabinets. 'They are finished using a food grade mineral oil.

Per the client request finger grooves were placed on both sides and both ends so that both ends and sides could be used..

Custom Hard Maple/Oak Slide Out Cutting Board

This custom cutting board was created to replace the old worn out one  and is on its way to Washington State to its new home.

It slides into the counter top for storage and has fingers pulls on each side opposite ends so it can be flipped and used both ways.  It can also be pulled out for use on the counter or somewhere else.

The center portion is made using hard maple with oak being used for the breadboard ends.  Breadboard ends help keep the board flat and add color.

The measurements are: 17 3/4" wide x 24 1/2" long, and 3/4" thick.  Once completed a food grade mineral oil is applied to preserve the wood.

Custom Made Over-sink Cutting Board

Hello Dave,

 The board arrived today. Many thanks! It fits beautifully, and the thickness, by chance, matches the thickness of the granite counter, so it makes virtually a continuous surface from counter onto the board over the sink.

This board was created out of hard maple and cut to the specific requests of the client. 18 1/8 inches long and  15 5/8 inches wide. It was designed to fit on top of an under counter mounted sink.  The angled corners were created to make it easy to flip the board.  The curved cut out on the upper corner was cut to make it easy to clear the board.

Custom Cutting Board with Croatia Coat of Arms

This request came from Southern California for this large cutting board.  It is on it's way to it's new home.

Made out of Hard Maple this board measures in at 24 inches long , 18 inches wide, and 1 1/2 inches thick.  Rubber feet were put on the bottom to protect whatever it might be sitting on.
The lasered image is the Croatia Coat of Arms and was done using a Epilog laser system.

Sanding has been finished and oil applied.

Custom Hard Maple Cutting Board Slide Out With Oak Pull

This large cutting board is on its way to Vacaville, California to its new home. This client is doing a major redo in his house. After working on updating the cabinets in the kitchen, he decided to also do the cutting board slideouts. During a google search he found me and placed this order.

The board measures in at 1/2 inch thick x 25 inches wide x 23 7/16 inch deep and was made out of hard maple. The breadboard front of the board was made using red oak 1/2 inch thick. 1 1/2 inches wide and 27 inches long. The extra two inches was to keep the board from sliding into the slot. Both sides of the oak got finger grooves routed into them for ease of pulling it out during use.

------------- Ag Fest 2011---------------- Custom Cutting Board Trophies

This client came to me looking for a quality product which could serve as a trophy and also be functional, and they wanted them to be custom made in the USA.  I am thankful they found and chose me to create their trophy's for this years event. I think they will be very pleased with their product.

The boards are being created out of  7/4 hard maple and will be finished using a food grade mineral oil.

Two first place trophies with handle, logo, lettering, and juice groove. 24 inches long x 18 inches wide.

Two second place trophies with handle, logo and lettering 18 inches long x 12 wide.

Six smaller boards with logo and and juice groove to be handed out at the event. These boards were 12 inch long x 8 inch wide

 The different colors are because they came from different pieces of wood.

Ag Fest is an Agricultural Festival that includes a large trade show held at the DeSoto County Turner Agri-Civic Center in Arcadia, Florida
