Custom Cribbage Board "The Adirondack Park"

This custom cribbage board is being created using White Pine and cut into shape of  Adirondack Park in up state New York. This is a Christmas present for a unsuspecting father.

It measures in at 13 inches wide by 16 long and 1 1/2 inches thick.

Poly finish being applied

Lasering done..ready for final sanding

Slot and cover made for pegs  on back

Shape and holes drilled and cut. Waiting on the laser shop now.

Custom Four Person Heart Shaped Cribbage Board

This custom made cribbage board is going as a wedding gift to the new bride.  Marrying into a cribbage playing family means she needs to learn how..... What better way than with a custom cribbage board from Splinters.

Measures in at 16 inches x 18 inches and is made out of hard Maple.

First coat of poly finish has been applied.

Holes are drilled and shape is cut. The corners are left on for now so I can rout a slot on the back for the custom pegs.

Custom Hard Maple Cutting Board

 Here is a custom cutting board heading to its new home in New York.  I hope you enjoy your custom cutting board Brenda when you open this package at Christmas. I was pleased to make it for you.

This board was created out of hard maple and is roughly 19 inches long and 12 inches wide.  As you can see there was a drip edge cut in as well as a handle..

Custom Four Person Cribbage Board with Chinese Good Luck Symbol.

This four person cribbage board was requested using the Chinese symbol for good luck along with the text.

It is made using hard maple and is around 8 inches wide and 18 inches long.

First sanding and edge routed.

Lasering and drilling is done

Custom Pizza Peels For Gabriella's Pizzeria In Smoketown, PA

These four custom pizza peels were made for and have been shipped to Gabriella's pizzeria in Smoketown, PA.

Two of them are for making and placing the pizzas into the oven measuring in with a 22 inch paddle and 18 inch handle and the smaller ones are for checking and removing the pizza measure in with a paddle of 14 x 12 inches and 24 inch handles.

They are being made out of a local birch and coated with a food grade mineral oil to protect and prolong the wood.

Peels have been oiled and are drying

Custom Round Howling Wolf Cribbage Board

This custom four person cribbage board was made out of hard maple  The lasered photo in the center represent a wolf howling at the moon.

This board  measured in at 15 1/2 inches diameter and  15/16 thick.

A custom slot was placed on the back to store the metal pegs provided with each board.

Finished and ready for many 29's.

Next step is to start the sanding stage and then on to the finishing.

Custom Doll house Furniture

These two pieces of furniture where built for a doll house being put together for a two year old little girl.
The bed measures in  at 9 x 6 inches with 3 inch sides.
The sofa measures in  at 9 x 4 inches.  They were made out of birch and left unfinished because they were going to be painted.

The bed was painted and placed in the bedroom.

The sofa was painted and placed in the living room near the fire place.

Here are the two pieces before they were shipped out.

Custom Rhode Island Shaped Cribbage Board

This custom three person cribbage board is being made for a fellow Veteran just returning from serving a deployment in the Middle East.  They said many hours were spent playing and teaching cribbage while deployed.  This is a gift for one of their teammates who they taught.

The board is made out of maple and is cut into the shape of the State of Rhode Island.  It measures in at around 1 inch thick, 12 inches wide and 16 inches long.  The bottom right water area was left attached to keep that section from breaking off.

There is a slot on the back to store the custom metal pegs which comes with the board.
