Custom Sloop Cribbage Board.

This request came in from a client in Massachusetts and it is sailing away to its home port.  The idea was started during a vacation last summer for the client and she thought it would be the perfect Christmas gift for her husband.
I was given a photo with very general specifications and asked "Can you create something like this?"  How can I say no to a challenge like that?
After narrowing down the type of sailboat; International One Design,   I created the shape design and I was off.

The boat measures in at 20 inches long 5 1/2 inches at the widest point and 2 1/2 inches deep.  The main deck is Dark Walnut and the two bottom layers are birch.
As you can see from the photos below, they were shaped, then glued together..then shaped further as was necessary.
This project was a really fun one to plan out and create.  I think it turned out very well.
