Custom Walleye Shaped Cribbage Board

This Custom Walleye Three Person Cribbage  Board was created out of Oak.
 Measuring in at around 24 inches long and 9 inches wide, this board will be a huge success in the mid west.
The shape and holes were done using a CNC router system.  The lettering was burnt in using an Epilog laser machine.

Custom Oak and Walnut Cabinet Cutting Board

 Created a replacement cutting board to slide in slot in counter top. The main board was made out of Oak and it is 18 inches wide and around 20 inches long. The walnut finger board was added to the front of board to match their cabinets and to keep the board from sliding into the cabinet to far.

The finished board was coated with a food grade mineral oil to preserve the wood.

Custom Oak Round Cribbage Board With Hawkeye Logo.

This custom four person round cribbage board is made out of oak and is 14 1/2 inches with storage slot on back.

 The logo was lasered in and then stained to give it a darker look.

Custom Oak Cribbage Board

This custom four person cribbage board for this client will be given as a gift on their wedding day.


It was created using Oak and measures in around 5 inches wide and 18 3/4 inches long.

A custom slot will be placed on the back to store the custom metal pegs which accompanies each board.

The custom personalization was done by Northern Lights Engraving in Columbia Falls, Montana using an Epilog laser system.

Poly/wax finish being applied....

This giant custom six person cribbage board has been delivered to its new home in Pennsylvania in time for their family Christmas gathering.

The three coats of hand rubbed poly/wax finish has been applied and are now in the final drying process.  Once that is completed I will begin the buffing and final finishing steps. This has been a very long process, but one which will pay off in the long run for the client. I am sure he and his family will have many spirited games on this board.

It was requested to create a way of hanging this custom piece on the wall when not in place. So I created this four inch keyhole slot on the back to safely hang the board straight on the wall. I hope they choose their spot well, because this is one heavy board and will need to be hung on a wall stud.

The inlays have all been done and we are now into creating the slots on the back to hold the custom pegs. Then I can move on to the sanding and finish stage.

This creation is a combination of other boards, furniture style in their home and the desire to have a board that his whole family can play on.

The walnut has been drilled and the holes for the inlays have been cut,,

The size of this board has grown a lot because of everything the client wants on his custom cribbage board.   It will be roughly 20 inches wide by 36 inches long.

Custom Hard Maple Cutting Board Slide Out With Oak Pull

This large cutting board is on its way to Vacaville, California to its new home. This client is doing a major redo in his house. After working on updating the cabinets in the kitchen, he decided to also do the cutting board slideouts. During a google search he found me and placed this order.

The board measures in at 1/2 inch thick x 25 inches wide x 23 7/16 inch deep and was made out of hard maple. The breadboard front of the board was made using red oak 1/2 inch thick. 1 1/2 inches wide and 27 inches long. The extra two inches was to keep the board from sliding into the slot. Both sides of the oak got finger grooves routed into them for ease of pulling it out during use.

Custom Maple and Oak Pull-out Cutting Board

This custom slide out cutting board was created for a client to replace their old one.

It measures in at 5/8 inch thick, 17 7/8 inches wide, and 24 inches long.  I used hard maple for the center cutting surface and oak for the breadboard ends.  The ends purpose are twofold, one to add to the look and two to help keep the board flat.

Once the board was finished I apply several coats of a food grade mineral oil to help preserve it.

Several coats of food grade mineral oil drying and it is ready to be shipped.

Custom finger groove on bottom side to aid in pulling out of cabinet slot.

Glued up and ready for edges to be rounded over, finger grooves cut, and sanded.

This custom three person box style cribbage board is made out of red oak.  It is around 16 inches long and 8 inches wide and was created as a 5th wooden anniversary gift.  The quote on the front was created using a Epilog laser system.

40th Wedding Anniversary order ........ UPDATE

The cribbage board was A HIT....Jack was thrilled and was blown away with the workmanship. Jack was brilliant with his hands before he was hurt so he knows GREAT work. He had me wheel him around to almost every room to show the men.
